Darko Ages After the Redfearn Renaissance?

People don't like change, especially when things are going well.

Pictured: things going well.
Certain players seem rejuvenated under Redfearn, while others are getting well-deserved runs in the team, when selection had not been forthcoming under Hockaday.

With some of the new recruits playing well and academy players coming through, things seem well balanced right now. Let's hope Milanic gets a lot of support from people already at the club so that he's able to build on the good decisions that have been made of late.

Someone tell him who this is and why he must be picked.
Milanic has some impressive experience, but is apparently quite an old-fashioned coach, one who prefers to play 4-4-2. There isn't necessarily anything wrong with this, but it doesn't fit with the exciting style of play the team's demonstrated in the last couple of matches.

Another potential worry is the reaction of Sturm Graz fans to Milanic's departure, which seems to have been a collective shrug of the shoulders. The club has apparently under-achieved in recent times.

Still, Leeds are getting a coach who has won titles and worked successfully in more than one country. And at 46 you feel he still has a lot of potential to develop in his career.

In theory, Milanic should be able to slot right in. The team has seen investment, so the squad should have some good depth and aside from players like Adryan, who people are eagerly waiting to see and Antenucci, who's impressed despite not knowing what it means to be offside, there are tremendously talented youth players coming through. It might be wishful thinking, but Cellino's model might be strong enough to mean the head coach's job is relatively straightforward, as long as you appoint someone competent.
I think I've got faith in you, Darko.
