beginning this weekend

Motivation requires nothing more than breakfast and a list.

Complete the items written down and I'll know I'm on course. Forget the solo round the world trips I've been reading about. Forget gym workouts (not my scene). Stick to the list and success is sure to follow.

We're at the beginning of a new day here. Anything is possible.

A quick look online helps to set me up before breakfast. "The truly rich are those who enjoy what they have" tweets Zupta. He's right. I enjoy myself even as I feel the butter seeping out through every pore and find the temptation to roll over and sleep for another hour or two overpoweringly alluring when weighed against the alternative: actual work. But I should take it in the spirit in which it's intended. I might enjoy work.

I read on to find more inspiration: Georgia Blake has tweeted "Saturday - a day to sleep in past my normal waking hour". My guilt vanishes. Saturday is for treats. I’ll work better once I’m properly rested. 

After more sleep, I'm ready to get stuck in. New plan: quick breakfast, then I'll sit down to write out that list.
